Credibility and Truth

Are you credible?
Who are you credible to?

People consider you credible if they believe you. Actors and models are considered to be credible when they tell you to buy a product on TV. Doctors are considered to be credible because they have status in the public’s eyes.

But credibility is only one piece of affecting positive change.

You must be credible: people must believe you. But credibility doesn’t have anything to do with telling the truth. It merely means that people buy into you.

Positive change also requires that you speak the truth.
