After the events of the last week, I am reminded that things don’t always work.
I have been working on automating emailing of my blog posts. One day it didn’t work because the automation didn’t fire. The next day nothing happened because I scheduled my writing to be posted on the wrong day. The tools are there for me to use, but I haven’t been able to consistently apply them to connect consistently with people that want a copy of this blog in their inbox.
Persistence is the secret to increasing your odds of producing something useful. A driving desire to help people is the secret to persistence. There is no guarantee that in the end you will successfully deliver. But if you continue to focus on the people that you are helping, and don’t lose sight of what they need, you will work tirelessly to make sure that they get what they need.
I’m expecting that this post will go up at the right time today. I am expecting that it will be tweeted out in the right way. It doesn’t always work, but if you have persistence in the effort and a vision for who you are serving, eventually it will.
