I can’t promise you that persistence will pay off. But I can promise you that persistence is more likely to pave the way to success than giving up. Making one more phone call after 37 rejections might get you the sale. Continuing to work on the software after it seems hopeless might help your team achieve success. Continuing to practice when it seems like there is no chance of winning could make you a better athlete. Your persistence will be the deciding factor.

If you are more persistent, everyone else on the same road as you, you will win. If you give up, you have no chance of winning.

Persistence doesn’t guarantee success, but a lack of persistence will ensure that you don’t succeed. Be persistent.
