The Stretch

What have you done this week that is beyond your comfort zone? What have you done to stretch yourself?

A stretch isn’t about doing something completely impossible; it is about going a little bit further than you did yesterday. You’ll never be able to pull your leg behind your head if you couldn’t touch your toes yesterday. If you tried, you will really hurt yourself. But by slowly stretching in the right way throughout the year, you may be able to hold that yoga position.

Stretch yourself a little bit this week. Be intentional about going a little bit further than your comfort zone. Whether in a conversation, delivering a result, or executing on an innovative idea. Go a tiny bit further than you are comfortable with, and feel the stretch. You’ll be glad you did.
