Vision

Bill Gates had the vision of a computer on every desk and in every home. I guess he achieved that.

What is your vision? Can you picture it? Can you taste it?

What will you give up to achieve your vision? Who are you willing to leave behind?

Your vision is what the future looks like when you are done with it. Most of us don’t have a clear enough vision to know what we should be working towards. As much as we don’t like to admit it, we find it difficult to draw the picture of the future.

More difficult than drawing the picture of the future in our mind, we don’t want to commit to it. What if we’re wrong? What if there is opposition to our vision? What if people think that we are dumb because of what we believe.

What is your vision for your life? What is it going to look like ten years after you pass on? Will the world be touched because of you? Do you want it to be? What seeds will you plant now that will continue (or maybe only begin to) bear fruit after you are gone?

Don’t let your life happen by accident. Change the world so that it aligns with your vision. Don’t change your vision so that it aligns with the way the world is.
